Questions
What does Opticom Studio make?
Live nights streamed on Opticom, short films, series, documentaries and narrative shorts, plus camera kit with or without an operator, and a monthly Season Pass for organisations that produce every month.
Are the prices on this page quotes?
They are starting prices. The Studio builder gives a planning range from four questions (what you are making, how long, how many cameras, where it plays), and a 20-minute intake call sets the actual number.
Why is there no $400 option?
One person with a camera, no bonded internet, no backup and no edit is how a live night goes dark halfway through. The floor is House Kit + Op or One Room.
Where does the finished work premiere?
On Opticom: as a free premiere, a subscriber premiere, a ticketed premiere, pay-per-view or a private screening, with optional simulcast to YouTube, your own channels or social.
How do tickets and pay-per-view work?
Tickets and online passes are sold through Greenway. From a project in Opticom you send the premiere plan to Greenway, check it, create it as a draft and publish it there; the project then shows the sale as it happens.
What happens after I book?
Every production gets a workspace in Opticom: status from request to premiere, crew and call sheet, asset uploads, deliverables with approvals and revision rounds, the invoice estimate and the premiere plan.
